BASINGSTOKE, October 5th 2021 – New tunnelling and underground construction specialist, hyperTunnel, has unveiled the proprietary robotic delivery system that is at the core of its radical new tunnelling method, at the British Tunnelling Society (BTS) Conference and Exhibition (QEII Conference Centre, London, Sept 30-Oct 1st 2021). hyperTunnel engineers demonstrated how swarms of its hyperBot robots can transport cartridges of construction chemicals through horizontal directional drilling (HDD) bore pipes to 3D-print a tunnel in the ground using completely new construction techniques.
